I am fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful areas on Earth. Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, et. al., are a landscape painter’s dream. I remember driving to the first annual Plein Air Painters of America conference in Steamboat Springs in 1997 and painting the whole way there and back – it changed my life.
