Arizona’s major range going from Flagstaff to Greer is full of lovely places and extremes. Back in the day I went up there fishing with friends – now I go and just paint. Huge flowering meadows, aspen patterns on hillsides, small silver streams in seas of green – postcard stuff. I try to look past the bucolic and capture something unique.
